Ed Lawlor
Recognized for his bird portraiture and sweeping landscape photography, Ed Lawlor is an award-winning photographer with more than 15 years of nature, wildlife and landscape photography experience. Shooting both 35mm and large format (4x5), Lawlor's photography is distinctive for its' untouched, clean and contemporary look.
Specializing in nature coast images of Florida, Lawlor believes in bringing nature - in its' most raw and wild environment - to an art form for those who would otherwise not have access. Over the last year, his world-wide travels have made Lawlor's images even more sought after - showcasing the natural beauty of such areas as the Patagonian region of both Chile and Argentina. Lawlor's stunning photography is widely collected, both privately and publicly, and is shown in galleries periodically. Due to his concern for the protection of the environment, combined with his breathtaking natural, yet artful photography, Ed's images were most recently selected for a one man, three-month show in the State of Florida's Governor's Gallery.
Lawlor's earlier commercial pursuits have ranged from interior photography to portraiture, and sports photography for such teams as the Super Bowl champions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Lawlor is an experienced UPI photographer and his images have been seen worldwide in a variety of periodicals and dailies including Florida Wildlife, The Tampa Tribune, Suncoast News and St. Petersburg Times, among others.
